Subscription Terms
Pricing, renewal, and cancellation terms for PickASunnyDay Plus.

1. Product
PickASunnyDay Plus is the paid subscription tier of the PickASunnyDay iOS App. It is offered by Nils Schiwora, trading as Nils Schiwora Trading Services — see the Imprint — and sold and processed by Apple through the Apple App Store.
These Subscription Terms supplement the Terms of Service. The Apple Media Services Terms apply between you and Apple for everything Apple is responsible for (billing, account, refund).
2. What's included
PickASunnyDay Plus unlocks the paid Sunny Plan experience inside the App. The current launch paywall and Plus help copy include:
- Full Sunny Plan details: exact best day, best sunny window, backup option, rain risk, and confidence
- Sunny Days rankings across the 14-day forecast horizon
- Unlimited watched plans with forecast-change alerts
- An ad-free app experience with no extra upsells inside unlocked plans
Free features remain available without a subscription.
3. Pricing
Plus is sold under two StoreKit products:
plus_monthly— billed monthly. Price: $9.99/month.plus_yearly— billed yearly. Price: $39.99/year.
Prices are shown in your local currency at checkout. Apple's regional price tiers may cause small variations from the USD prices you see in marketing.
4. Free trial
plus_yearly includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. plus_monthly does not include a trial.
The trial converts automatically into a paid yearly subscription at the plus_yearly price shown at checkout unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Cancellation during the trial keeps you on the trial until it ends.
5. Auto-renewal (App Store required disclosures)
This subscription is auto-renewing. As required by Apple:
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price as the original purchase unless the price has changed (see Section 8).
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.
6. How to cancel
You can cancel any time. Cancelling stops auto-renewal at the end of the current paid period; you keep Plus features until that period ends.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions
- Select PickASunnyDay Plus
- Tap Cancel Subscription

7. Refunds
Apple handles all refunds for App Store purchases. We cannot issue or refuse refunds for App Store transactions ourselves. You can request a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
We will tell you honestly whether we think a situation warrants asking Apple for a refund.
8. Price changes
We may change subscription prices in the future. Any change applies to future renewals only, never retroactively. Apple notifies you of material price changes through the App Store and, depending on Apple's current rules, may require your explicit consent before charging the new price. You can decline a price change by cancelling before the next renewal.
We may show eligible users a discounted yearly retention offer, currently planned at $29.99/year, only after they start the yearly trial and cancel before the trial ends. The offer is optional and shown only when available; Apple's checkout remains the final source for price, renewal period, and eligibility.
9. Right of withdrawal for EU consumers
If you are a consumer with habitual residence in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal starting on the day the subscription is concluded (§ 355, § 356 BGB).
Because the App Store provides the subscription as digital content immediately on purchase, you can lose the withdrawal right once provision has begun — provided that you have given prior express consent to immediate provision and acknowledged that you lose the withdrawal right with the start of performance (§ 356 (5) BGB). Apple's purchase flow presents this consent step.
To exercise the withdrawal right where it still applies, the most practical route is to use Apple's refund flow at reportaproblem.apple.com; you can also send an unambiguous withdrawal statement to support@pickasunnyday.app, and we will help you escalate to Apple.
10. Cancellation by us
We may terminate your subscription for cause if you materially breach the Terms of Service (for example, by abusing the Service or trying to circumvent the paywall). If we terminate without your fault, we will work with Apple to refund any unused, pre-paid period.
